INDEPENDENT RESEARCH
Sapral is an independent research group studying what AI assistance does to learning. The claim we're testing is narrow:
Unscaffolded assistance produces work that is indistinguishable, to the person producing it, from work that came with understanding attached.
The performance is real. The learning may not be. This gap is not visible from the inside, which is what we are measuring first.
We publish findings before we build anything on them. Advances that benefit us should not be privatised. Our initial roadmap, research, and premise will be available by September 1, 2026.
